Can I just say that I love CS? The lecture's not terribly fascinating because it pretty much just reiterates and clarifies the assigned reading; neither is section, but I get such a kick out of doing the homework programs. On Wednesdays, like today, I have lecture from 2 to 3pm and section from 5-6, both in the same building about a half-mile from the dorm. During those two hours today, I sat outside in the green grass and crisp, fallen leaves, attempted today's NYT crossword to very little effect, finished up the assignment due Friday, and had a bowl of split pea soup from the place-that-dispenses-food-in-return-for-not-too-much-money downstairs. The establishment was probably mandated by the Bureau of Public Health because noone in that building would exit it, however briefly, even for food. I felt oh so very computer geeky, in a good way. Even the building in which these two gala events are held bears a geeky name: Terman. As in, rhymes with Herman. As in, wears vintage horn-rimmed glasses and pocket protectors. Don't you love abuse of stereotypes?
Yesterday was Full Moon on the Quad. What should I say about it? Umm... everything's a learning experience? Alright, that's enough.
