My Mondays are a little odd, but I got a kick out of my afternoon. I have a 10am IHUM lecture, a big fat span of nothingness, and then a 2pm CS lecture. CS is pretty straightforward for now; being fully prepared for class even renders it a little boring. Anyway, I had three errands to run: withdraw cash at the ATM, fill out some personal data form for a Perkins loan, and get my wrist checked out. All of it took care of itself within forty-five minutes. No lines. No bureaucracy. I love that!
What I don't love is the fact that I seem to have developed tendinitis in my left wrist. Hell and damnation! I'm supposed to cut down on typing, piano (grrrrrrrrrr. double grrrrrrrrrrrr. just when I'd started getting motivated again.), sports (which is okay because I only either bike, run, or play ultimate, all of which require zero or one hand), and lifting; pop 2 Aleve at every meal, and ice it twice a day. I did manage to talk him down to just 1 Aleve, though; I mean, I can get drunk off of coq au vin.
So I guess I shouldn't be typing right now. Back to "algorithmic design," as my nice fat expensive text calls it! One last thing—if you don't know Roger, check out his news today. It's definitely an uplifting one, which, in the Roger scheme of things, is on the rarer side of never.
