A day of rest

Today's been wonderfully stagnant. I've really needed this. "This" consisting of waking up at 9am, and having spent about 80% of the time between then and now idling away the hours online. It's ironic, how much I've been looking forward to finals week. Well, not so ironic when my prospective finals "week," which ends Wednesday afternoon, is considered in light of the past week. I had four final projects or papers due during Dead Week, and I'd never been so glad to FTP into the CS106B site as yesterday at 4:28 pm, even if my A* extension on Djikstra's algorithm wasn't actually implemented. The little gurgly WS_FTP chime marked the last I'll see of CS in a while. CS107 definitely won't be happening next quarter, if at all. I really do have fun with this stuff, but the truth is that I'm not fantastic at it. I'd really like to take 247 next fall, but it's a design course whose working medium is Macromedia Flash. Whee!-----
