The weather, and the Floovie

My programs are so close to being done, I can't believe it. It's been so long since I've been able to hand in [what seems to me, at least] a completely bugless program that doing so this time would really make me happy. Of course, it helps that this assignment has been easier and shorter than usual, and that we've written parsers—albeit in PROLOG, not in C— in ling seminar. Still... exciting! I just have to clean up one function so that it handles a special case, and then I can shower and start my IHUM paper till Matt gets here.
A couple of hours ago, I was rather bummed because it was raining. Personally, I relish the steady, sweeping swaths of drenchedness that rain brings us because it's so rare; I really do crave a jolly old thunderstorm and hope we get some at home over spring break. But because Matt's visiting for the day, and the Stanford area is one best experienced outdoors—I'd even procured the use of Molly's bike for the afternoon (yay Molly-cule!)—I wished and wished that it would pause for the next few hours. Thankfully that has happened; with luck, it won't start again til after the University Singers concert tonight.
