This morning, I remembered that I'd signed up for sack lunches on Wednesday at the beginning of the quarter because I have class almost consecutively from 9am to 2pm, and that I'd checked "turkey" as the preferred meat option. When I got my lunch today, I decided to eat the sandwich anyway. The meat had already made its way through the long processes of agriculture and processing to a brown paper bag with my name on it, and refusing to eat it wouldn't mitigate that in the least. So, oops. But I guess it was better to eat it than to contribute to the huge food wastage that goes on, anyway.
