Test ride out of reality
Just got back from a really long rambly ride, whose 3/4-point was a stop at the Los Altos branch of Chain Reaction. There, I test rode an aluminum road bike for about half an hour. Butter. Droooooool. And siiiigh: it was $800. At any rate, I really do need to get my gears looked at—it's hard to switch in and out of third, and I think the chain's slightly but consistently misaligned, producing a mild racket. I wish there were a bike maintenance class at school or something.

Well, time to stop pining and take a shower!
