Rollerblades!

It's 69 degrees outside and I'm eating a carrot—the second of two, in fact. Mondays can get a little rough on the cuisine; our produce deliveries come Tuesday and Saturday mornings. Carrots—especially these big ole full-sized— ones are fun to eat, though. It may be because of their great time-to-chew versus volume ratio. I'd never have gotten into it if Tory hadn't handed me one on our way down to read at Moonbean's a few weekends ago. Impressively, I held onto it despite her brilliant timing: I had decided to don eight wheels instead of the usual two for the ride down. They'd been in the trunk of the car, and it was the first time I'd worn rollerblades since, oh, middle school save my one lazy loop around the [swampily flat] neighborhood at home last spring break. The gently downhill journey to Green was, um, eventful. Good thing I had an armrest in Tory.
