Napa, an insider's view
Classes have been fairly uninspiring for the past week except Language and Prehistory, but I'm in a bit of a tizzy regarding post-graduation options. I thought I had things mostly figured out, but something new came up at the end of last week which sounds universe-disruptingly risky and enticing. I should start to hear things officially next week, after which I can press for more details about the options and make a better-informed decision. In the meantime, I'm a little too all-over-the-place for any coherent personal thoughts. Heading over to Scarlet Fire in a bit to cook dinner, as part of an effort to see rarely-seen old friends more frequently, and my stomach's already burbling with anticipation.

So I'll leave you with a photoset from earlier this month, when a couple of Napa-grown girls from Kairos decided to take some of us on an insider's tour. I've visited the California wine country several times when my dad was working in Oakland and we all flew out to visit every school break, but c'mon, did you really expect a 12-year-old to appreciate ANYTHING? (Not to mention that this time around, major differences were attributable to being escorted by two girls who had grown up in Napa, and between the local connection and some amazing brand of charm were able to get us tastings at three wineries for the paltry total of $4 and much more insiders' access to boot.)

Without further ado, check out Napa Wineries with Kairos Locals.
