Wind, electronic and thermodynamic

A blustery day and night; the clock's just struck twelve. My housemate Zafeiria, a Fulbright scholar in organ from Athens, gave her solo concert at noon today in MemChu. The main piece was a Vierne (:Poulenc :: Field:Chopin, approximately) symphony with some lovely, eerie, dancing tunes in the first two movements that I hadn't known an organ could make.

During the concert proper we sat in the pews below, but I arrived at the end of the preceding church service and popped up to see Robert Huw Morgan (her teacher, and the appointed university organist) play the recessional. It's truly a full-body instrument.
